Advancing Geospatial Knowledge Infrastructure for Smarter Governance and Real-Time Insights
We are proud to share that our CEO, Mr. Vattem Narendra Babu, delivered an insightful session on “GKI-enabled Open Data and Real-Time Geospatial Intelligence” at the GeoGov Summit Middle East 2025 in Abu Dhabi.
In his session, he emphasized how Geospatial Knowledge Infrastructure (GKI) forms the foundation for building open, interoperable, and trusted data ecosystems that strengthen governance, sustainability, and climate resilience. He highlighted the transformative role of maps as powerful communication tools—“one map speaks more than a thousand words”—enabling people of all ages to understand and engage with information intuitively.
He further noted that geospatial maps have seamlessly integrated into our everyday lives, empowering users globally—even without formal GIS knowledge—by delivering meaningful, location-based insights that drive smarter, evidence-based decisions.
